Elk Grove
Elk Grove is named for a hotel. James and Sarah Hall built the Elk Grove Hotel and stage stop in 1850; the original came down in 1957 for Highway 99, and a replica stands in Elk Grove Heritage Park. Wine grapes followed in the 1880s, and the Elk Grove Western Festival has run since 1957. The city itself is young, incorporated on July 1, 2000.
Elk Grove is wedding country for us, and we are there all the time: vineyard estates, wedding venues and backyards, with smaller events in between. South and west of the city the land drops toward the Delta, where some of the region's estate venues sit on the islands along the river.

One of our longer runs: about 44 miles from the Lincoln warehouse, and farther again to the Delta estates. Delivery is $2.50 a mile on the round trips to deliver and to collect, with no minimum order. Book early for a summer Saturday.
