Graduation Party Rentals
Late spring, usually outside, usually more people than planned.
Graduation parties cluster into a few weeks in May and June, which is the single most important thing to know about renting for one — stock across those weekends goes early.
Most orders are tables, linens and serving pieces rather than full place settings, because the food is usually served rather than plated.
Most of these happen on a lawn or a terrace between mid-May and late June, which means daylight and warmth do a lot of the work — the rental is less about atmosphere and more about surface. Long tables, comfortable seating, linens that hold up to being outside, and enough serving pieces for a buffet.
May and June are the constraint
Graduation weekends concentrate demand into a narrow window. Send your list as early as you can — availability, not budget, is usually what limits the order.
Plan for more guests than invited
Graduation parties draw extended family and drop-ins. A margin on seating and glassware is cheaper than a same-week addition.
Older guests want a seat
These parties often include grandparents and extended family. Even a standing party needs a run of seating along the edge — cane chairs or benches from the collection do that without dominating the layout.
